Learning to crawl or walk, first birthday (cake smash or not), heading off to Pre-School or Kindergarten, missing their first tooth or their two front teeth, heading off to middle school, braces on, braces off, the times when they are always giggling or maybe when they are super stubborn or when they need a confidence boost or they have a stuffy they won't put down or they've asked you to play "Don't Break the Ice" a thousand times or you've read the same book or watched the same movie until you're blue in the face and all those times in between - that's when photos are best! Kids grow up so fast and so many milestones are worthy of our memory. Photographs and curated artwork are essential to our memories - one look at an image can trigger a vivid emotion or put you right back in time. These portrait sessions are timeless because they define the moment or milestone. I also happen to enjoy how much fun these sessions get to be - drawing out their personality through play and finding joy in all their little moments.
